Our Purpose
DeBurgh Advisory Group is a leading client-side consulting practice that specialises in project management advisory and construction advisory services. We support councils, government agencies, health facilities, and Defence-adjacent environments operating within regulated and high-governance settings. Our team delivers independent, practical advice aimed at helping clients identify their needs, uncover overlooked aspects, and structure projects effectively to achieve compliant, defensible, and achievable outcomes. We operate solely in the client's interest, with no alignment to designers, contractors, or suppliers.
Our Story
Founded and led by Directors Blaire Burke and Connor Burke, DeBurgh Advisory Group was established to address a common issue observed across many projects - critical risks not being identified early, unclear consultant scopes, and projects entering delivery without sufficient alignment between approvals, design, procurement, and delivery strategy. The practice was formed to offer clear, independent Client-Side Consulting and Construction Advisory Services that enhance decision-making before projects progress into delivery, ensuring effective Project Management Advisory.
Our Approach
Our approach is anchored in early risk identification, governance awareness, and practical delivery experience, which we leverage through our Client-Side Consulting services. We provide comprehensive Construction Advisory Services, assisting clients from the initial planning and feasibility stages all the way through to project delivery and close-out, ensuring that projects are properly set up from the outset.
We emphasise the early identification of risks that may emerge in areas such as design, documentation, approvals, and procurement decisions, as addressing these issues early can significantly minimise their impact on cost, program, and compliance outcomes. Additionally, our expertise in Project Management Advisory further strengthens our capability to effectively navigate these challenges.
